Thomas Nee: ACE Certified Fitness Professional
Teammate Fitness was born during my recovery from a serious auto accident. While rehabilitating, I came to value life as never before. I refused to accept the prognosis that I could never be fully active again. Instead, I dedicated myself to living life to its fullest.
I have studied body mechanics and physical fitness for over 12 years. Certified by the American Council on Exercise, I continue my education through the National Association of Sports Medicine, researching the most successful approach to personal training. In addition, I have earned a Nidan - 2nd degree black belt-- and the title Fukushidoin (Instructor) from the United States Aikido Federation.
My life is dedicated to helping others improve and enjoy their lives through physical fitness.
Thomas Nee’s Top Five Toning Factors:
- Specific health goals: Ask yourself what you really want. Who are you working out for? It’s important to know what you want and then realistically know what you can get.
- Core stability: Once a pathway is designed, core stability is a must. Without this moving forward will not prove effective.
- Corrective stretching: Loosing up tight hamstrings will help keep your gluts tucked under, just as loosening shoulder muscles will improve shoulder placement and posture.
- Weight resistance exercise targeting major muscle groups: Pushing, pulling, squatting, and pressing exercises will target all major muscles.
- Cardiovascular work and nutrition: Calorie intake and calorie expenditure need to have a difference.
